She asked for the word for "potassium" in the contact's native language. The contact revealed that "potassium" itself was used as a loanword.
Ms. Reinhardt moved on to asking for related words, like those for "potash," "lye," and "salt derived from wood or plant ash."
But to no avail.
The search shall continue by other means.
